Jack Pachuta has created murder mystery parties for over 40 years

Known to many as “The Chief Inspector”, Jack Pachuta has been crafting murder, mischief, and memorable experiences since a dark and stormy night in 1982. For more than four decades, he has written and facilitated interactive murder mystery events for clients across the United States and Canada, while distributing his popular party kits to mystery lovers around the world.

Beyond the intrigue, Jack brings a second identity to his work: speaker, trainer, and consultant. He seamlessly blends mystery storytelling with dynamic learning experiences focused on team building, communication, negotiation, and sales. His programs engage participants in a way that’s both entertaining and effective—proving that learning sticks best when it’s fun.

Jack holds master’s degrees from the University of Southern California and Michigan State University. His diverse client list includes organizations such as Jockey International, PepsiCo, ShopKo Stores, and global institutions spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, Connex of Romania, and Greece.

A lifelong puzzle-solver and storyteller, Jack specializes in weaving clues, characters, and clever twists into immersive experiences. Through his mystery writing workshops and boot camps, he shares the techniques and insights he’s developed over decades—helping others bring their own whodunits to life.
